Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to the most common questions about your Logic Utilities account, your bill, payment methods, and metering services below.
I received a disconnection notice from Mi Utilities — what should I do?
A disconnection notice means there is an outstanding balance on your account. Log in to the Mi Utilities portal at www.logicutilities.com immediately and pay your outstanding balance. Once payment is confirmed, your cooling service will be restored within 24 hours. If you believe the disconnection notice has been issued in error, contact us via AI Chat at www.logicutilities.com or WhatsApp and we will investigate immediately.
How do I provide my bank details for a security deposit refund?
Log in to the Mi Utilities portal at www.logicutilities.com and go to your account settings. Enter your bank IBAN and account holder name under the payment details section. Ensure the name on the bank account matches the name on your Mi Utilities account. Do this before your move-out is completed to avoid delays to your refund.
When and how will my security deposit be refunded?
Your security deposit will be refunded within 5 working days of all move-out conditions being met — final bill paid, all charges cleared, and NOC issued. The refund is made directly to the bank account whose IBAN details are registered in your portal. Make sure your bank details are up to date before your move-out to avoid delays. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed.
What is the security deposit for Mi Utilities?
The security deposit is a one-off payment made at registration to secure your utility account. The amount varies depending on your unit type and building. It is held for the duration of your tenancy and refunded within 5 working days of your account being fully cleared at move-out, in line with RSB requirements.
I am moving to a new unit in the same building — do I need to re-register?
Yes — you need to complete a move-out from your current unit and a new registration for the new unit. Log in to the portal at www.logicutilities.com and submit a move-out request for your current unit. Once your final bill is settled and your NOC is issued, register your new unit separately. Your security deposit may be transferable — contact us via AI Chat or WhatsApp to discuss your specific situation.
I am selling my property — what do I need to do with Mi Utilities?
Log in to the Mi Utilities portal at www.logicutilities.com and submit an ownership transfer request. Your buyer will need to pre-register using the QR code or link you share with them. The buyer completes registration by uploading their Title Deed or SPA and pays the registration fee. Once the transaction is confirmed and all outstanding amounts on your account are cleared, your account is deactivated, your final bill is generated, and your security deposit is refunded if applicable.
What happens to my security deposit when I move out?
Once your final bill is settled and all Mi Utilities obligations are cleared, your security deposit is refunded. Under RSB regulations, the refund must be processed within 5 working days of all conditions being met. You will receive the refund to your registered bank account. To ensure a smooth refund, make sure your bank IBAN details are up to date in the portal before your move-out is completed.
How do I get a NOC from Mi Utilities?
A No Objection Certificate (NOC) is issued automatically once your final bill has been paid in full. Log in to the portal at www.logicutilities.com and initiate your move-out request. Once your final bill is settled, the NOC is issued to your registered email address and copied to your owner and tower management team. You do not need to request the NOC separately — it is generated as part of the move-out process.
What is the final bill and when will I receive it?
The final bill covers all charges from your last billing period up to your confirmed move-out date. For AMR-enabled buildings, the meter reading is taken instantly and the final bill is generated automatically. For non-AMR buildings, the meter reading is taken within 24 hours of your confirmed move-out date. Once the meter reading is confirmed, the final bill is issued promptly. You will receive it by email and it will also be available in the portal.
How do I start my move-out process with Mi Utilities?
Log in to the Mi Utilities portal at www.logicutilities.com, go to Request → Move Out, and select your preferred move-out date. The system will email your owner or landlord to confirm the date — they have 24 hours to respond. If there is no response within 24 hours, the system checks your Ejari contract end date and proceeds automatically (maximum 3 days). Once the date is confirmed, our technical team collects your final meter reading within 24 hours (or instantly for AMR-enabled buildings), and your final bill is generated automatically.
